Ginger.

. . .

Welcome to "the engines of my love," a regular review of why I love you, Martha Ellyn Sharp Nelson, and no other woman.

I love you because you have never complained about my greenhouse. Wednesday was a very busy day, and yet because the termite people were going to come when I was back in Austin, I needed to take enough time to clean out the ginger from against the house and put in a barrier so the poison wouldn't taint the roots. It was fun to get back into the greenhouse. I sweat a lot, and Rob actually helped me a little bit before he went off to play with Brad. It was funny to see Sara's reaction to the ginger roots: `Oh, what is that?' Now I just need to figure out to do with all of the ginger roots I have cleaned and in a plastic bag in the refrigerator. Oh well! Sort of like needing to figure out what to do with the fact you do not believe how much and that I actually do love you.

I'm interested in sharing why I love you. I know how important the written word is to you, and if you ever feel neglected, ignored, or unloved, and would like an up-to-date bound copy of these lovelets or any subset of these lovelets for any purpose you might have come to mind, please tell me or e-mail your request to rnelson@walden3d.com with the request 'lovelet update.'

With all my love,
Roice
