OBJECTIVE: To gain new insights in interpretation techniques, to have fun, and to end up with the most paper money

PARTICIPANTS: Sixty-two explorationists signed up for the workshop following the 1982 NPF Biannual Meeting

TEAMS:

• 7 or less members
• Teams elect or appoint a President and a Chief Geophysicist
• Team names A through J changed by registration
• team partnerships allowed

GOVERNMENT:

1. The workshop instructors represent the GOVERNMENT (in all of it's wisdom)
2. GOVERNMENT decisions are final (and right)
3. The GOVERNMENT will strictly follow the leasing schedule (see DEADLINES), unless it changes it's mind.

MONEY:

• A, C, & E have $10M
• All other teams $6M
• Bankrupt if data acquisition, lease requests, partnerships, or drilling commitments exceed company resources
