Fifteen years of applying integrated geologic, geophysical, computer images, and statistical analysis to petroleum exploration. The techniques used were developed in a teamwork setting and have been successfully applied over the last eleven years.
Founded Earth View Associates, Inc. as a networked team of experienced petroleum professionals dedicated to high quality geological and geophysical consulting.
Identified and initiated lease acquisition and prospect/trend mapping in Conoco's "Hager Trend" play (mid miocene section) and of "Matagorda Trend" (lower micene) of the Texas Shelf.
Initiated and established field extensions in the West Cameron are of the Gulf of Mexico and in the Ventura Basin of California, including prospect mapping and regional support work for the trends.
Performed basin modeling for hydrocarbon generation and preservation from an integrated continental margin model for regional and prospect mapping in ANWR on Alaska's North Slope. The modeling was generated by incorporating seismic, well, gravity, and magnetic data.
Developed a fast "seed mode" computer visualization procedure for predicting sand transport and deposition in deep-water environments.
Produced and applied key concepts of vertical migration of hydrocarbons in the Gulf of Mexico supporting lease acquisition and several discoveries.
Generated an "uncertanity of risk estimate" procedure from underlying statistical principles which ran on a 16k lotus spreadsheet, circumventing the need for the megabytes of memory required by the original Monte Carlo analysis.
