Good Morning Roice,
We were excited to hear news about Paul, thanks for including it in the Thoughtlet. Since many Elders & Sisters were calling home yesterday Ben took the opportunity to be at his friend Peter Andersen's house when he called to talk with his mother. Peter is serving in the Calgary, Alberta Mission. Ben is looking forward to his mission, he has 16 months before he turns 19.
When will Roice be moving to Santa Monica? You know we are 30 minutes from there. Really it is only 17 miles but one has to factor in the traffic. If Roice will be doing any travel for A.S.I. he will soon discover our freeway system, you never go by miles instead the time of day and direction will let you know how long you will be on the freeway. We would love to see Roice and have him over for dinner when ever he has any sapre time. I know he will be very busy with a new job and the learning curve that he will be going through at first. Will you please make sure he gets our address and phone number and tell him to call if he needs anything or has any questions about the area, we will be gald to help.

Chucks mom made a surprise trip here and we had her over for mothers day. Chuck and the kids cooked an incredible dinner and set the place up like it was a fine French restaurant. One of the best parts of the day were the funny French accents they all spoke in. I'm glad you got to hear from Paul. I'm sure that made your weekend a great one. I hate to see you, and I'm sure Marti too, going through the pain of divorcing. I know on special days like yesterday it is especially hard for you as well as the kids. I know what your kids are going through and it isn't fun. My prayers are always with you and your family.
Have a good week. Tell Roice we would love to hear from him.
Love, Di
