The August 5 job fair sponsored jointly with the Epiphany Catholic church is now behind us.  45 employers and 325 candidates participated.  The number of employers was almost twice the number at past fairs.  Everyone we talked with was enthusiastic about the event.  Post evaluations indicate quite a number of candidates were invited to onsite interviews.  Experience has indicated that further job placements should result from followups by the candidates. We are grateful. This is the purpose of the fair. We plan to have another fair early next year.

 

I would like to thank all those that helped with the fair including solicitation of employers, facilities, administration, publicity, and encouragement.
