You mentioned a Melissa Thorley. My grandmother was Annabel Thorley--my Mother's mom. My brother was named Thorley for that side of the family. I am sure there must be a relation somewhere.
What is Pairs? I assume it stands for something and it is obviously a support group. It sounds like it is helping you--I think having people that you can talk to that understand what you are going through, that can empathize, is extreemly helpful.

Amy,
Thanks for the note. In answer to your questions:

Melissa was my age and grew up in Cedar City. I believe Sara told me she plays violin for the Utah Symphony now.

PAIRS stands for Practical Application of Intimate Relationship Skills. It is a 16 week course which I think everyone should take. One of the books you could refer to is Virginia Satir's "New Peoplemaking." They do PAIRS seminars all over. In Seattle area a couple of contacts are Naughne Boyd, Ph.D. 509.946.9613 in Richland or Carol Wright at Lincoln Center, 206.454.2262 in Belview. PAIRS Foundation is located in Falls Church, Virginia. I missed the weekend on sexuality, which doesn't relate to me right now anyway. I was moved and changed by each of the other classes, all but one of which I made. I doubt if Forrest would want to go to the class, based on what little I know of him from the summer he was here. However, I guarantee it would be worthwhile and I would be glad to talk to both of you about it if you have any questions.
Hope everything is going well for you and your family.
Best Regards,
Roice
