. . . Alan Croft Info

After leaving CHS, I attended CSU for two years and then two more years at USU where I graduated with a BS in electrical engineering. Boeing hired me in 1973 and I left Utah for Seattle. After about three years I was caught in the downturns that Boeing is famous for. The next year was fun. No rush to get back to work. While working for a friend building vending machines I met Anita, my wife. When it was finally time to get back to work, I took a job with a company called Terra Technology. We built seismic recording instruments. It was interesting work. Traveling was part of the job. It gave me the chance to travel around most of Western U.S., including Honduras, Mexico, Germany, and New Zealand. In 1989 our daughter Marcia was born. Two years later Paul was born. They are great kids.

Anita follows her calling to teach. At present she teaches at the local community college.

After nineteen years at Terra Tech., I moved back to Boeing. I have been there ever since, and hope to stay a bit longer. So everybody get out there and travel.

I have pretty much giving up downhill skiing. Occasionally we make it out for cross country skiing. I enjoy astronomy, cooking, traveling, and fishing.

One of my most hilarious memory of CHS was taking drivers Ed for Jack Sawyers. It's hard to visualize him as mayor of Cedar City.

Looking forward to visiting with everyone at the reunion.
