hearken unto my words, as the Lord
[006] | she also had complained against my father,
. . . a visionary man |
[007] | Lehi, took the records . . . he did search them from the beginning. . . . an account of the creation of the world |
[008] | give the genealogy of my fathers |
[009] | we had gathered together all manner of seeds of every kind, both of grain of every kind, and also of the seeds of fruit of every kind |
[012] | he is the same yesterday, to-day, and forever; and the way is prepared from the foundation of the world |
[013a] | he is God over all the earth . . . thou believest in the Son of the most high God |
[016b] | I, Nephi, did make out of wood a bow, and out of a straight stick, an arrow |
[017a] | they did murmur; and against my father,
saying he had brought them out of the land of Jerusalem . . .
we have suffered much affliction, hunger, thirst, and fatigue |
[017b] | the Lord spake unto me, Thou shalt construct a ship, after the manner which I shall show thee |
[019] | Behold, the Lord hath created the earth that it should be inhabited; he hath created his children that they should possess it |
[022] | rocks of the earth must rend |
[024] | Mine hand hath also laid the foundation of the earth, my right hand hath spanned the heavens |
[027] | the time cometh that they shall dwindle in unbelief, having a knowledge of the creation of the earth, all men, knowing the great and marvelous works of the Lord from the creation of the world |
