All Exhibitions will open to the public at The New Ulm Art Center, The Heritage Gallery, and other venues in town. The Mural Project will be on the fence at Taylor and Walnut Streets, and there will be sculpture in open areas around town.
At noon the High School Scholarships will be presented at the New Ulm Art Center.
ART AND THE WILDFLOWERS Exhibition will be on view at The Falls Resort and Club during the day and a Dinner and Silent Auction will be held in the evening. Tickets are $75 per person. For reservations or information call 409.992.3337. Funds raised will provide a Scholarship for Travel in Europe for a College student to be announced at the Dinner.
The Exhibitions will be open to the public on the weekends in April, 10 AM to 5 PM.
THE BIG DAY of the FESTIVAL. There will be much to see and do. There will be live performances of singing, square-dancing, ballet, and other talent. There will be face painting for the children, artists/craftsmen selling their creations, and of course there will be refreshments and food. And lots of interesting art to see and enjoy. We are still planning the activities and events (in February), so the Festival promises more by April. There will be antiques, and antique cars, wildflowers, and many other fascinations and amusements.
In the late afternoon we will all go out to the Firemen's Park for a Bar-B-Que and then a Live Concert featurning Sara Hickman, a singer-songwriter and lively entertainer from Austin.
The program continues to expand and we are open to suggestions if you think of something we should include.
